Working closely with designers, we have created a new product for contemporary living, called the Àncora Collection.

The exclusive design of the inlay, a decorative element that is repeated throughout the collection, takes its cue from a nautical and maritime symbol—the anchor—whose original function is to attach a ship to the seabed, providing it the necessary stability for the safety of those on board.

In watchmaking, the anchor is the essential part of the escapement, a component with a shape resembling a small anchor that is connected to the balance wheel or the pendulum on one side, while the opposite side oscillates, grabbing the teeth of the escapement wheel between its extremities.

So, the anchor is also linked to time and rhythm, to something systematic and precise.

The repeated inlay strengthens the product’s lines, making each piece original and characteristic.

Depending on its direction and proportions, we create new shapes, as if there were different joints.
